Shawn Foster

Shawn
Foster is Director of Operations for Fellowship Programs for the
Health Research and Educational Trust/AHA. She is responsible
for facilitating curricula and resource development for cutting
edge leadership programs in community health, patient safety and
cultural competence. In previous years, she provided targeted
site analysis and tools to 25 community health partnerships from
the national Community Care Network (CCN) demonstration program.
Before joining HRET in March 1997, she was a Member Service/Market
Research Assistant within AHA's Society for Healthcare Strategy
and Market Development. As Assistant to the Administrator of LakeCrest
Nursing Center in Merrillville, Indiana, Ms. Foster focused efforts
toward improving patient and community relations. Ms. Foster has
a BS in Public Health from Indiana University.
