Senior Research Associate
Anthony Lara is a Senior Research Associate for the Expecting
Success Cardiovascular Market Assessment Team. Mr. Lara has substantive
experience conducting qualitative health policy research including
the conduction of interviews, focus groups, survey design and
implementation, and research syntheses. Since joining the Department
of Health Policy at George Washington University in 2001, Mr.
Lara has been engaged in research examining the organization
and financing of HIV care and prevention services, the integration
of preventive clinical practice guidelines into healthcare delivery,
and the financing of child health services under Medicaid and
SCHIP. Mr. Lara has a BA from the University of Notre Dame, a
BS from the University of Iowa, and a Master of Health Services
Administration degree from The George Washington University.
Mr. Lara is a PhD candidate in public policy and public administration
at George Washington University.
